This time allows our dedicated team to on-board you, giving you instructions on Health & Safety, Story, Controls and to allow you to get used to Virtual Reality.
You have 50-Minutes to complete this weeks Summer Challenge VR Escape Room.
Will you complete it within the allotted time, or will the timer run to zero?
You’ll then be entered into our national leaderboard and a staff member will double-check your time!

These rooms strike the perfect balance of fun and difficulty — and with a fresh leaderboard and up to a £192* gift card up for grabs each week, you’ll want to give it your best shot.
Unfortunately, no. To keep the Summer Challenge fair and consistent across all locations, we strictly follow the age ratings set by PEGI and ESRB for each weeks challenge. Even with guardian approval, players must meet the minimum age requirement for that week’s selected game.
Our team will confirm each player’s age at check-in, so please ensure all participants are eligible before booking.
Gift Cards won through the Summer Challenge are only valid at the VRXtra location where your team played and won. Since each leaderboard is shared nationally but prizes are fulfilled locally, this helps keep things fair and ensures winners are rewarded by the venue they supported. Be sure to choose your location wisely — the prize is tied to where you compete!
Gift Cards are sent out via email on the Wednesday following the winning announcement. If your team tops the leaderboard, keep an eye on your inbox — a member of the VRXtra team will be in touch to confirm your win and share your prize details.
Great work! If your team escapes before time runs out, your completion time will be logged and entered into that week’s national leaderboard — along with any hints or skips used.
